Ugh. My computer is entirely shitting the bed. This would normally send me into a panicked frenzy that would cause me to foam at the mouth and curl up into a corner of my living room shaking uncontrollably, except that I already have a new computer built and just need to format it. Sorry for the lack of posts, sometimes life just wants to shove it at you from several ends at once. Ummm, I probably could have chosen a better sentence, but it’s getting late and I need to sleep.

Anyways, there has been more knitting, and here is proof.

I made this hat for my friend Brandy, who traded me for some cool cartoon character printed tees she makes. It’s just made up, I did whatever I felt would work for the description she gave for me. It came out kinda PERFECT, and Brandy loves it. I’m really glad because it’s always a little touch-and-go when you’re going by the seat of your pants on these things.

It’s got some ribbing, some random stitch I made up, and a brim! Also, a little band and a button. I guess those comments are all kind of self-evident from the photos, but because I didn’t write what I did down and seemed to have knit it while I was in a fuzzy state of mind, that is about as accurate as I can get. Here are some more pictures!

The button is only on one side, It felt better that way.

She really does like it. Yay!

Now I just have to knit the other things I have promised people they will be getting at some point in the future. Also, the things I promised myself I will be getting at some point in the future. More knitting ahead! And I promise it won’t be so long in between posts, my new machine is winking at me from the corner of my living room as I type this.
