New Knit for a New Baby

I left my Bubble Pullover in the back of my friends car. I am a little sad as I won’t be able to get it for about a week, and I already have not had it for a week. It’s okay though, as I cast on for a new project that I need to get done. This is a baby blanket for some friends who are expecting a new addition this summer.

I’m making it out of Bernat Cotton Tots, it’s a pattern I just made up on the fly with a little inspiration from a kids sweater. All the cables are definitely keeping my attention, a fun knit so far!

I also picked up a few things this weekend, of course. A new Habu Kit for a fun scarf (more stainless steel yarn, yay!) and some new magazines. No pics of the mags at the moment, but here is the Habu kit:

I love Habu so very much.

Sorry, I don’t really have much to say. It’s late and my sleeping schedule is weird so it’s messing me up. I think that sleeping for 14 hours on Saturday may have been a bad idea…
