I might have to steal this title from you! Great yarn purchases, and I'm really intrigued by the Lionbrand. What's the recommended needle size? I'm thinking big fat blankie.

I love that pattern you are using for the mittens! Just gorgeous. It looks like the colourwork is coming along just fine. And that fisherman's wool- SO yummy!

You'll have to tell me what you think of the Madeline Tosh yarn - I've heard mixed reviews and I'm trying to knit down some of the stash before I go buying more sock yarn. ;)

Awwww. At least what you showed has a purpose so you know you can knit it out again. Can't wait to get something started from selbuvotter myself!

Ohh I really like the fishermen's wool. Yeah, the GGH isn't perfect for those mittens, but I still think it looks nice. It's almost as though the stitches are too defined.

So, I've cast on for the Aquaphobia socks! Umm.. But my guage is waaay off. I think I'm getting 6 stitches per inch. Who woulda thought I was such a loose knitter? It's really a great pattern, though, so I'm just going to rip it and reknit it. It's going to be great.
