Quickie FO

Here it is, as promised, the quickie FO. It’s the Foliage hat from Knitty. I actually don’t think the Knitty patterns are that great most of the time, but when I saw this hat I thought it would suit some of my first hand dyed and wheel spun yarn. The pattern was pretty mindless easy knitting and it made a nice squishy hat! I still have some of the yarn left over, no idea what to do with it though. Maybe some wrist warmers, or I will knit the ever popular Caliometry just to keep with the Knitty theme for this yarn.

On to the pics!

And this one is more of me than the hat, but I thought I would throw it on here so I don’t seem as elusive.

See? I am totally a real person and not just some crazy bot-generated blog. Maybe one day I won’t have to hold the camera myself and will actually be able to get some pics of me wearing my sweaters.

Nice hat. And nice use of handspun yarn! Maybe we should make duct tape models for our sweater shots?

The leaf pattern looks great in that natural veriegated green
