Rough One

It was a long weekend for me, knitting friends. I had people over, helped a friend set up a new apartment and even had a jewelry making day. How do I fit it all in? Apparently I don’t sleep enough and I am feeling it today.

However, knitting has been done, new projects have been cast on, and baby things have been finished.

The Cami Which Makes Me Want To Die is coming along nicely. I am now as far along as I was before I ripped it out. There are no pictures because I am still holding a grudge. It will get a photoshoot when it proves to me that it has learned its lesson and will no longer mock me on my blog. Bad Cami, Bad!

I did start knitting a pair of socks with the Tongue River Farm sock yarn. It is just so deliciously sheepy and hearty. If it were soup I am sure it would have a nice deep barley broth and plenty of fresh garden vegetables in it (I think I’m hungry). On to the pics (enough with my stomach):

Tongue River Socks

Gorgeous, isn’t it? If they come out how I am hoping they will I may use them as part of my Topsfield Fair submission this year. These socks are also why I bought the blockers. All of my other socks are washable wool and these are not, so I will need to be careful with them. I think they will be worth it though.

And for the finished baby stuff, are these not the CUTEST THINGS YOU HAVE EVER SEEN?

Booties

I can’t handle it, they are far too adorable. Here is more:

Booties

I love them. Love Love Love them. This baby outfit thing I am working on is great. It’s quick knitting on one of my favourite needle sizes, I get to use Adrian’s gorgeous hand dyed, and I get to squeal like the girl I am whenever I finish something so cute and wee. Eeeeeeee! Cute little things. Go and knit some of your own!
