Socks Socks Socks
Let’s pretend like I have been here all along, happily doing what I should have been doing. Now let me catch up on some FO posting. How about some socks first, a nice easy start that won’t take too much explanation.
First up, some dood socks knit out of Hello Yarn in the Tar colourway. The pic is a little dark, but photographing dark yarn is difficult at best (especially in winter light). Just plain tubes and an after thought heel, I wanted to make it easy on myself because I didn’t know my friend’s foot size.
Second, some socks knit up for my Memere’s birthday. The yarn was Confetti, but the pattern is just plain knitting with the normal heel turning. You don’t need fancy when the yarn can induce a seizure. But they are fun!
And last (my fav of the bunch) some Noro striped socks. I have to say that I love love love Noro sock yarn. It’s becoming an obsession. Despite it’s weird quirky nature, this sock yarn is something I always want to be knitting with. I can understand why it’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely for me. I love these socks, and they are WARM. And CUTE. And WARM.
Aren’t they cute? Don’t you want to knit with Noro now? Maybe you need to feel them on your feet to have the burgeoning obsession I am developing. Although, they are adorable enough without trying them on. So CUTE!

Nice socks. I especially love the Noro ones. Guess I know what do to with my last skein of Noro sock.

I LOVE the Noro socks. I have a skein sitting in my stash to make some similar ones. Can’t wait!
