Uhhhhh
So, here I am from the hotel at Rhinebeck, ashamed and saddened at how long it has been since I made a blog post. My new computer is awesome, but it sure takes some time getting everything transferred over and running. The lack of a proper computer desk and chair isn’t helping either.
While I haven’t been posting, I have gone to Toronto and spent a yarney long weekend at Lettuce Knits, Romni, and an awesome Alapca farm. Things I have bought will be posted to Ravelry when I get the new computer desk I bought set up, I can’t wait to have a fully functioning home computer again.
I’ve also been knitting. A lot. A real lot. The bubble pullover is done, and can be worn this weekend for the cooler weather at Rhinebeck. The pic below is of the sleeves in partial completion. Don’t let this fool you, the sweater is actually a lot larger than this.
I also have some nearly completed Bird in Hand mittens. I looooove them. They are out of my favourite yarn ever, Felted Tweed, which definitely helps my mad love. Not to mention that I love colourwork. And flowers. And brown and green. And birds. Well, see, the love for these mittens encompasses everything that I think is awesome right now.
And then, I have cast on for some mystery mittens. This is the palm of the hand. Does anyone know what the front is?
