What a Mess

I’ve had a very rough blog week. First all my pages disappeared, which meant that I had lost all my free patterns for people, then my host decided I had abandoned my domain, which meant I had no blog at all! Sorry I couldn’t post. I have been spending a lot of time going back and forth with the helpdesk. It’s good to see the ol’ website back up and running as it should be. Time to breathe a sigh of relief!

Tomorrow I am off with some friends to check out The Harlot at Webs. Should be a fun time! To tide you over until then, here is my Seed Stitch Fine Yarns knitting group from over a week ago. See how all these internet troubles have slowed me down? I am posting photos from a week and a half old knitting group. Pathetic.

They have an awesome coffee table...

The table! I know it’s not a person. But it’s a valid part of the group and I wanted to include it. Besides, it’s a yarn table! How awesome is that?

Lynsday and Heidi (her blog is a baby blog, she’s just starting and getting used to being the blogger instead of the blog-ee). Good friends of mine. Hi guys! Wave to the blog!

Darlene! She’s also a Canadian living in America.

And, I did KNIT while I was at group as well. The baby blanket has been blocked. I am now just waiting for inspiration to strike (or most likely, the deadline to loom down upon me) to finish up the embroidery piece. I like it! It’s a little small, but I think it’s a good size for a car seat blankey.

Blocking Baby Blanket

I think this is the first time I have ever finished something with over a month left to go on the deadline. Maybe the good knitting karma is what made me have bad blog karma. In any case, I have been casting on for new and exciting things! I should hopefully get to work on them during the drive out to Northampton tomorrow. Hope to see some of you at Webs!

Hi, I found your aquaphobia sock pattern and was wondering what is the circumference of the sock? is it stretchy? if i were to make it larger/smaller, are there multiples i need to work in as i add/decrease?

I am a size 6 and my fiance is a size 10.5-11 (mens of course).

Thanks! =) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a fun knitting group! I haven’t been out to Seed Stitch yet. I love the cables on the baby blanket. Lucky kid! ;-)
