Knitted Christmas angel
The angel is knitted in double knit, garter stitch and with i-cord edges. It is knitted in London Merino Fine /Mayflower. It can also be knitted in other yarns. The angel is knitted on needle size 3 (this gives a slightly more dense/compact look, as these 2 strands together would normally be knitted on needle size 3.5 / 4.
In addition to yarn and knitting needles, you’ll need a large wooden bead (I used one with a diameter of 4 cm) as a head and leather cord or other thick thread/yarn/cord.

The work can be “a little tight” in the stitches – like when you knit a yarn for row 4 on a row 3. This gives a little “stability”/stiffness to the work.
